The PDQ "Signs of Spirit" Community Grant or PDQ Creative Schools Initiative.

When a teacher submits student artwork for a community project, the school automatically unlocks an extra percentage off (e.g., 10% to 15% bonus discount) on their next order of banners, team signs, or event backdrops.

 

We are excited to introduce our Creative Schools Initiative. Here is how it works:
  1. Submit Student Artwork: When your school projects involve community events, local business sponsorships, or public displays, your teachers can upload student-designed artwork directly through our secure online portal.
  2. Earn Bonus Rewards: For every community-facing student design approved and submitted by a faculty member, your school will automatically receive an additional [X]% discount token credited directly to your account.
  3. Save Big on School Spirit: Use these bonus credits on your next order for athletic banners, theater backdrops, graduation signs, or hallway graphics!
To make this work smoothly alongside the strict, automated approval rules you already have, add a dedicated path for schools on your submission page:
  • The "Teacher Gatekeeper" Rule: Make it clear that only submissions uploaded directly by a verified school email address (.edu or your local school district extension) qualify for the community discount. This prevents random students from trying to claim it.
  • The "Print-Ready" Reminder: Teachers must still check off the pre-production boxes (exact sizes, CMYK colors, and font outlines) so your team doesn't spend hours fixing low-resolution student files.

Terms, Conditions, and Media Release Agreement:
  • Rights & Permissions: By uploading and submitting artwork through the PDQ Signs LLC portal, the submitting faculty member certifies they have obtained all necessary school district and parental permissions required to share student work.
  • License to Display: Participants grant PDQ Signs LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to reproduce, format, print, and publicly display the artwork, school name, and student identifier (First Name/School) for marketing, commercial sample display, portfolio showcase, and community promotional events.
  • No Financial Compensation: No monetary compensation, royalties, or residuals will be paid to the student, teacher, or school for the physical display or digital showcasing of the artwork.
  • Artwork Integrity: While PDQ Signs LLC will make every effort to preserve the integrity of the student's creative work, our production team reserves the right to resize, scale, or technically adjust file formats to meet the mechanical safety locks of our printing machinery.
  • PLEASE DO NOT DISPLAY STUDENTS NAME ON BANNER FOR SAFETY.

🏆 Reminders for a Perfect Print:
To clear our automated machinery locks, please verify that your student files are print-ready vector formats (PDF, EPS, or AI) scaled to the exact desired physical dimensions at 300 DPI, with all text converted to outlines.
🔐 Terms & Media Release Authorization
Before hitting submit, please review and accept our community program terms:
  • Submission Authorization: By checking the box below, you certify that you are a verified faculty member of your school district and have obtained all necessary parental or legal guardian permissions required to share this student's creative work.
  • Display & Promotional License: You grant PDQ Signs LLC a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, format, print, and publicly exhibit the submitted design. This includes digital displays on our website and social media networks, as well as physical exhibition at our commercial showroom.
  • Student Attribution: PDQ Signs LLC is authorized to display the student’s first name, grade, and school name alongside the printed artwork sample for community-building and promotional purposes. No monetary royalties or financial compensation shall be paid for the display.
  • Production Scaling: Our production team reserves the right to resize, scale, or technically adjust file layouts to comply with the automated parameters of our printing machinery.
