Because vehicle graphics involve complex body contours, door handles, molding, and strict highway safety compliance, getting your design right before it hits the printer is essential.
To protect your budget and your timeline, PDQ Signs LLC offers four distinct levels of digital proofing at checkout. Choose the tier that best fits your workflow:

🟩 Option 1: Direct-to-Press (Free $0.00 — No Proof)

  • What it is: Your provided file goes straight to our wide-format printers exactly as submitted.
  • Best for: Professional graphic designers or repeat fleet managers who are using pre-verified vehicle templates and do not need their files double-checked.
  • Please Note: No digital proof will be sent. No layout changes or text corrections can be made once the order is placed.

🟦 Option 2: Fleet Template Proof ($45.00 — Max 2 Revisions)

  • What it is: Our design team drops your graphics onto a precise digital blueprint matching your specific vehicle's year, make, and model.
  • Best for: Standard commercial trucks, vans, and police cruisers.
  • How it protects you: We verify that your logos, phone numbers, and text don't accidentally get cut off by door handles, body trim, gas caps, or backup sensors. Includes up to two rounds of minor layout tweaks.

🟧 Option 3: NFPA Compliance & Chevron Alignment Audit ($75.00 — Max 2 Revisions)

  • What it is: A highly specialized safety and technical layout audit for emergency, utility, and municipal vehicles.
  • Best for: Police departments, fire fleets, tow trucks, and highway utility vehicles.
  • How it protects you: We review your layout to ensure the chevron angles, block sizing, and material choices strictly meet NFPA 1901 standards and your local state visibility statutes before production. Includes up to two rounds of compliance corrections.

🟪 Option 4: Premium Master Fleet Mockup & Unlimited Proofing ($250.00)

  • What it is: The ultimate safety net and collaborative design experience for complex projects.
  • Best for: Full vehicle wraps, new department brand rollouts, or clients with multiple decision-makers who need to see every option.
  • How it protects you: We build out full, highly detailed multi-angle digital master mockups of your vehicle. This tier includes unlimited design revisions, allowing you to continuously experiment with placements, text variations, and colors until it is absolutely perfect.

💡 Standard Revision Policy

To keep production timelines on schedule for all clients, Options 2 and 3 include up to two rounds of design revisions. Additional adjustments requested beyond two rounds will be billed at our standard shop design rate of $75/hour.
